Tripura Sundari Sadhana Online
About Course
Bala Tripura Sundari emerged from the heart of Lalita Devi. The mind, intellect, consciousness, and ego are under her control. Though she appears as a young girl, she manifests as an attendant deity of Lalita Devi and spreads Sri Vidya knowledge to all worlds while performing her divine duties. The very name “Bala” signifies supreme purity. Merely uttering her name makes one’s birth blessed.
Bhandasura had thirty sons, and he sent all of them to the battlefield. When Bala Tripura Sundari learned that Bhandasura’s sons had entered the war, she pleaded with her mother for permission to face them. Though Lalita Devi initially refused, she later agreed, unable to deny her daughter’s enthusiasm. Bala mounted a chariot drawn by one hundred swans, with Shyamala and Varahi as her protectors, and set out for the battlefield. Seeing the extremely fierce battle fought by Bala Devi against the sons of Bhandasura, everyone was astonished. Bala Devi destroyed all thirty of Bhandasura’s sons at the same time. Delighted by her child’s valor, the mother embraced her joyfully. Though appearing as a child, there is no difference between mother and daughter in power.
We shall learn more about Bala in detail during the sadhana.
