Sri Maha Varahi Devi
Varahi Devi is the commander-in-chief of Lalita Devi’s forces. She emerged from Lalita Devi’s power of action and stands to her left. Lalita Devi bestowed the plough and mace from her Ajna Chakra upon Varahi Devi and appointed her as the supreme commander of the army. Varahi Devi is the embodiment of the Goddess’s power of action.
With the face of a boar, lotus-petal-like eyes, and holding weapons such as the plough, mace, conch, discus, goad, and noose, she shines wearing red garments, displaying the gestures of protection and boon-giving, with overflowing compassion. Varahi Devi represents the commanding power of the Goddess that governs the entire universe.
